Discover the secrets of Extremadura

Extremadura, in the mid-west of Spain, is one of the most authentic areas of Spain and a really marvellous area for nature lovers, photographers and people just wanting to relax, being so far away from any mass tourism. The region of Extremadura has a tranquillity which is difficult to find in Western Europe. The region has become a haven for a variety of birds, which have become rare in the rest of Europe.

The hilly landscape is vast and empty. Here you can still find one of the last large steppe landscapes of Western Europe, with their own specific bird population.

Large parts of Extremadura, however, are wooded with holm oaks and cork oaks, a type of landscape called dehesa.

If you are looking for quiet and authenticity, love nature and watching birds, and prefer to stay away from mass tourism, then "Finca Las Abubillas" is an ideal destination for you. Once you have been here, it will never let go of you. We would very much like you to experience this.
